BCHU to continue using local COVID-19 vaccine booking system

Published on: March 15, 2021

BRANTFORD, ON – As the Ontario government rolls out the province-wide COVID-19 registration system, the Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) will continue to use its local booking system for the immediate future.

We ask all residents who currently qualify to receive COVID-19 vaccine to continue to book through the BCHU website.

The Provincial vaccine registration system is currently only in use for those 80 years-of-age and older. BCHU has already begun vaccinating those in lower age brackets.

We ask that residents continue to check the BCHU website to remain informed which groups are eligible to book appointments.

BCHU will be reaching out to those who have had their second dose vaccine appointment moved to the new, provincial directed 16 week interval this week. All those falling within this category will book their new second appointment through the BCHU booking system.

BCHU will send out a subsequent notice when vaccine booking for Brant residents will move to the provincial booking system.
