These services include:

The Health Unit has specific roles regarding pests in our community. Pests include bats, bed bugs, cockroaches, rodents, and any other mammal or insect that may be thought of as a public health concern. Visit our Pests webpage for more information.

If your drinking water comes from a private well, we will test your water for free. The test will look for harmful total coliforms and Escherichia coli (E. coli) bacteria. We recommend testing your well water three times a year, every year. We will help you understand the results and provide well maintenance and water treatment options. Visit our Water Testing page for more information.
